Happy new year 2009/ Japanese pop music

I wish you a wonderful year 2009!

Happy that I welcomed 2009 in my hometown with families after
not seeing them for some time.
Today I introduce this years best singers "EXILE"
They are seven people with two singers and five dancers.
What makes them cool is their soft and gentle voice and
atomosphere of adalt.

They seem to follow R&B style. I can say R&B is evolving the
main stream among young generation in Japanese music scene .

When talking about mens group, Janny's group is the most famous
organization having male stars. If you are a japanese girl
I'm sure you fall in love with one of Junny's stars at least once.
Janny's stars, they are also good entertainers in terms of dance and
songs like EXILE but biggest difference is sence of adalt.

Junny's stars have a role to take girls to dreaming world while they are performing
therefore the stage they create is marely based on reality. But EXILE shows reality to the audience. The proof for it is the fact that thier hit song is almost
describing tragedy of love affiar or hearbreak. One of their songs I posted below.

This video starts with short explanation of EXILE's activities in 2008 and you will
also find which generation and sex support them. Obviously females are more excited with EXILE than males. and the reporter in thevideo refers 40-50 year's old womens tends to become a fun of EXILE that is not common. But once I see the rylic of the song they sing in the video,I clrealy get the reason why they are polular in middle aged wemens. This is because the rylic is written from the view of a women who fell in love with a man already married to other women.
I don't think this reflects Japanese culture today but it should be true that there
was no singer steping in the field EXILE did, which means young males sing about middle-aged female's feeling with R&B style. I think ESXILE is marketing thier position well to survive in unstable music scene. As additional info, EXILE once belongs to the same campany as Ayumi-Hamasaki and Namie-Amuro who are leaders of japanese young people's culture. EXILE depertured the company now and handling their activities by their own so that one of the memeber's in EXILE is the President of "Company EXILE".

"Ti amo" seems like Latin or Italian...? I don't know
